Realme 8s 5G Camera.

The Realme 8s 5G appears similar to its brothers, with a 16MP front-facing camera and a squared quad-camera configuration on the back.

The top-right \”sensor\” has just a logo that says \”AI,\” but the layout is supposed to resemble the quad sensor arrangements on the 8 and 8 Pro\’s backs.

Compared to its predecessor, the 8s 5G features a 64Mp main camera and two 2Mp sensors: one for depth and one for macro photography.

The phone\’s main 64Mp sensor captures images well in strong light, but suffers from restricted dynamic range and over-sharpening to make them appear higher fidelity than they are.

Realme 8s 5G Battery.

The Realme 8s 5G is equipped with a large battery of 5000 mAh and a few tricks that allow it to operate at a low power consumption and endure for an extended period of time. The Realme 8s 5G is equipped with the Dimensity 810 CPU, which has a very compact architecture, resulting in reduced energy consumption and extended battery life on the go. The LCD screen also contributes to keeping power consumption under control because it requires less power than the AMOLED display. Even with light usage, the Realme 8s 5G is capable of lasting the full day. When you add in a few hours of gaming, the battery may drain fast  but don\’t worry, it was something realme anticipated. Powered by a 33W charger, the Realme 8s 5G is capable of charging the phone from 0 to 100 percent in less than 90 minutes. That was lightning fast. So, no matter what time of day it is, you can always count on the Realme 8s 5G to be by your side.

Realme 8s 5G Performance

There is a Dimensity 810 chip at the core of the Realme 8s 5G, which is MediaTek\’s most basic 5G-capable mobile silicon (at the time of writing). This chip is complemented by up to 8GB of RAM.

The Realme 8s 5G performs admirably in benchmark tests, offering comparable CPU performance to the rest of the Realme 8 line but with weaker overall graphical capability, as evidenced by its lower overall graphical ability in games such as Call of Duty Mobile, where visuals default to \’Low\’ settings and peak at \’Medium\’ setting (gameplay is still wholly possible and enjoyable, though).

Realme 8s 5G Design

The Realme 8s 5G\’s design is unobtrusive and attractive. The phone comes in Supersonic Black or Blue, with a glossy back that reflects light when held up to it, and a colour-matched matt plastic frame.

The 8s 5G\’s plastic shell feels robust, but the rear panel readily picks up smudges and fingerprints, making cleaning it a headache.

The phone\’s curved edges give it a nice and slim feel in the hand, despite being the thickest of the current Realme 8 range at 8.5mm, and even bulkier with the included transparent flexible cover.

Realme 8s 5G Display

The screen of the phone, when compared to the 8 5G, is perhaps one of the most evident cost-cutting measures to be implemented. This phone has a 20:9 Full HD+ IPS LCD display, which is the same size as its predecessor, but the refresh rate has been reduced from 120Hz to 90Hz.

It is set to \’Auto\’ by default;however, it may be locked to 90Hz or 60Hz if you want more fluid images or longer battery life, respectively, over the default setting of \’Auto.\’

Although colours are still pleasant and there are a variety of display options that allow you to change things like colour gamut and colour temperature as desired, the viewing angles, contrast, and maximum brightness all appear to be a little less than expected.
